Our Speakers

Michael Thomas- BIO

Michael Thomas, Financial Services Investment Advisor MBA, LUTC, CHFC is the Area Director for MetLife and the Corporate Education Campaign Vice President. Michael will be presenting MetLife's Plan Smart Program, a free employee educational workshop. Michael Thomas has trained and mentored many employees in his 33 years experience with MetLife starting in Chicago IL, moving to Las Vegas, NV and is now developing the Phoenix area as well. Michael Thomas is Series 7, 24, 6 and 63 licensed and holds the Life, Health and Variable Annuity license in multiple states.

Carolyn Bare- BIO

Carolyn Bare, MBA Investment Advisor is the Lead Faculty and Economics Professor for the MBA program at the University of Phoenix. Carolyn is also a Financial Planner/ Investment Advisor with MetLife. Carolyn’s passion for financial education has afforded her many corporate speaking engagements across the United States. Carolyn Bare is series 7, and 66 licensed as well as Life, Health and Variable Annuity in multiple states.

Carolyn will be presenting a portion of the Plan Smart program presentation including commentary on the economy.

*Meeting Location Details and Directions

Meeting will be held in room 164, 1st Floor in the Campus Services Building on the UNLV campus.  Note this is a change from our past meetings at UNLV.

The Campus Services Building is a yellow two story building located in the parking lot near the Thomas and Mack arena, close to the intersection of Tropicana and Swenson.
